CASSIS: A Modeling Language for Customizable User Interface Designs
نویسندگان
چکیده
Current user interface modeling languages usually focus on modeling a single user interface and have a fixed set of user interface components; adding another user interface component requires an extension of the language. In this paper we present CASSIS, a concise language that supports creation of user interface components using models instead of language extensions. It also allows the specification of design-time and runtime user interface variations. The support for variations has been used to generate constraints for custom user interface components, to specify design patterns and design decisions. CASSIS has been used in several projects including a multi-disciplinary applied research project. 1

Analysis and Design of Model-Based User Interfaces: An Approach to Refining Specifications towards Implementation
This paper proposes a method for user interface development where a model for analysis (Just-UI) and a model for design (DiaMODL) are conveniently combined into an integrated method. Just-UI currently supports automatically refining analysis models, through conceptual patterns to concrete user interface designs. Integrating a dialog modeling language (DiaMODL) into the method, will let the desi...
متن کاملInvestigating the Level of Observing the Evaluation Criteria for User Interface in library services providing to the blind and deaf users in the word
Purpose: Digital library user interfaces has a determining role in desirable performance of this kind of libraries. Digital Library service providers to the blind and deaf users will have their best performance when the users (deaf and blind users) could have a proper interaction with them. This study aims to evaluate and analyze the criteria related to user interface in digital libraries servi...
متن کاملCARDIAC: An Intelligent Conversational Assistant for Chronic Heart Failure Patient Heath Monitoring
We describe CARDIAC, a prototype for an intelligent conversational assistant that provides health monitoring for chronic heart failure patients. CARDIAC supports user initiative through its ability to understand natural language and connect it to intention recognition. The natural language interface allows patients to interact with CARDIAC without special training. The system is designed to und...
متن کاملFormal Analysis of UML-Based Designs
This paper describes a design specification and analysis framework to support the OO design stage. Structural and behavioral specifications of objects are integrated and formalized. To achieve this task, an object-oriented design language that captures the structural and behavioral models was defined. An environment consisting of a graphical user interface (GUI) and a processor for the language...
